What is BMSA?

In the early months of 2009 area saddle club presidents gathered and agreed to form the Blue Ridge Mountain Saddle Association (BMSA). This new association would be composed of saddle clubs from Murray County, Gilmer County, Union County, and Copper Basin. Each Club agreed to host 2 shows for the year that would be BMSA sanctioned shows in which participants would compete for overall points.

The turnout for the shows was excellent, the competition was fierce, and new friendships were formed.

Overall I think the participating Saddle Clubs would agree that this newly formed Association was a success. One that is sure to be continued for the 2010 season.

The 2009 award winners have been determined and will be award at the BMSA Awards Dinner to be held February 6th 7:00 P.M. @ the Davis House Restaurant located in  Ellijay, Georgia. All members are welcome to attend.
